2026 International Conference on Power Systems and Intelligent Computing


The 2026 International Conference on Power Systems and Intelligent Computing (PSIC 2026) was successfully concluded on July 10, 2026, as an online conference. The event brought together researchers, scholars, and industry professionals from around the world to exchange the latest advancements in power systems and intelligent computing technologies.

The conference opened with a brief registration and an opening ceremony, followed by three distinguished keynote speeches. Prof. Mingdong Wang from Zhengzhou University, Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering, delivered an in-depth presentation on "Linear Active Disturbance Rejection Control Strategy for Outer-Loop Capacitor Voltage of M3C," addressing the control challenges of M3C in fractional frequency transmission systems and proposing a novel control strategy that integrates a linear tracking differentiator and a linear extended state observer to achieve superior stability and dynamic response. Assoc. Prof. Khadim Moin Siddiqui from SR Institute of Management & Technology, India, an IEEE Senior Member, provided valuable insights with his speech on "Fault Diagnosis in Electrical Machines: From Signals to Solutions," offering a comprehensive overview of condition monitoring, signal processing techniques, and AI-based diagnostic methods for electrical machine fault detection. Assoc. Prof. Yun Liu from South China University of Technology presented his cutting-edge work titled "Research on Multi-agent Supply-Demand Coordination Mechanism and Decision-making Methods for System Strength," proposing a novel framework that treats system strength as an ancillary service resource and establishing a coordinated governance scheme involving both grid companies and renewable energy stations.

Following the keynote sessions, the oral presentation session featured two emerging researchers presenting their work. Zhicong Zong from Northeast Forestry University presented on "Zero-Sequence Current Mitigation Scheme of Open-Winding PMSM with Model Predictive DTC," addressing current suppression in open-winding permanent magnet synchronous motors. Bowen Fan from Shanghai University of Engineering Science presented on "Safety-Oriented CNN-Attention-GRU Hybrid Network for Remaining Useful Life Prediction of Lithium-Ion Batteries," introducing a hybrid deep learning approach for battery health monitoring.

The conference also featured a poster session showcasing innovative research, including Yucong Xu from The University of Hong Kong on learned calendar embeddings for probabilistic short-term load forecasting; Jingwen Yu from Hefei University of Technology on a UAV-assisted insulation ground wire gap switching device for transmission lines; Junliang Liu from State Grid Liaoning Electric Power Co., Ltd. Dandong Power Supply Company on transmission line single-phase grounding fault calculation models and water-fire combined power plant economic load dispatch optimization; Yicheng Yan from Hohai University on MDL-Load, a small-sample multimodal differential forecasting method based on large language model fine-tuning; Hongyuan Zhang from East China University of Science and Technology on a resonant DC-link soft-switching inverter circuit and its modulation method; and Yibin Fang from Shanghai Kejiang Information Technology on sliding mode control and zero-sequence voltage injection for 3L-ANPC inverters. The conference was supported by Hohai University, Shenyang Institute of Engineering, and SR Institute of Management & Technology, India.
